ATHENA 3 SGE Integrated Cutting System
The Athena 3 is our top of the range integrated cutting system and features dual cutting tracks, one for the blade and one for the cutting wheel.
Capable of cutting materials up to 20mm thick such as PVC foam board, banners, vinyl, inkjet media, fabric & textiles, film, paper, leather, corrugated plastics, cardboard, magnetic sheet, acrylic (score and break), aluminium composite (score and break), polystyrene and more.
It can be attached to an existing workbench or alternatively can be attached to one of our purpose built Atlas Tables to create the perfect cutting station.
Guaranteed straight to 0.4mm (0.016") over it's full length.
Please be aware that unlike a traditional safety edge where the blade runs directly alongside the ruler's edge, on a cutter bar due to the configuration of the cutting head on the track, the cut line will be a distance of 1mm away from the metal extrusions edge. This is to prevent damage from the blade and extend its working life.
- A replaceable integrated cutting wheel track allows textiles and other delicate materials to be cut cleanly and accurately using the textile cutter, when a standard blade is not suitable
- Adjustable mounting brackets allow the base extrusion to be easily adjusted for both level and straightness; both of which are necessary for accurate cutting
- When not in use, the Athena can be rotated to a safe position under the cutting table or workbench, leaving an unobstructed work surface for other projects to be produced
- Three full length silicone grip strips, two on the cutter and one on the base, aid clamping and help protect the material of the surface being cut
- A torsion bar allows the cutter to be controlled from a single lever at either end for easy loading and adjustment of material
- Flip stop to prevent the movement of difficult to cut substrates and smaller offcuts
- A full length measuring scale is included as standard (metric and imperial measurements)

Supplied with 3 blades as standard - utility blade (pack of 100), a textile wheel and an acrylic scoring blade.
Available in 5 cut lengths: 160cm (64”), 210cm (84”), 260cm (104”), 310cm (124”) and 360cm (144”).
